AI AND HEALTH NOTICE

Last updated: August 3, 2026

CaliCoach uses on-device pose detection, algorithmic metric calculation, and AI-generated text to provide training feedback. These results may be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable for a specific situation.

Before the first AI analysis or Coach Chat request, CaliCoach asks for explicit consent and identifies OpenAI as the recipient. For analysis, up to three selected video keyframes, the skill title or prompt, and local pose and biomechanics metrics are sent. For Coach Chat, the message you send, up to 18 chat messages, and selected attempt summaries are sent. Full videos are not sent to OpenAI in the current analysis or chat flow.

Cloudflare and Hetzner process those data only as infrastructure providers to route, protect, and host the CaliCoach API before OpenAI receives them.

CaliCoach does not opt in to use OpenAI API inputs or outputs for model training. You may withdraw consent for future AI requests at any time under Privacy & Data. The Privacy Policy explains recipients, purposes, retention, and deletion in detail.

Important notices:

  • The feedback is not medical advice.
  • The app does not provide diagnosis and does not replace a doctor, physiotherapist, or in-person coaching.
  • Poor recording quality, hidden joints, or unsuitable camera angles can significantly reduce analysis quality.
  • Skill recognition, metrics, and AI responses may be wrong even if the app shows high analysis quality.
  • Do not use the app for rehabilitation, injury diagnosis, pain assessment, or other medical decisions.
  • Train within your abilities and stop if you experience pain or uncertainty.
  • Practice demanding or dangerous skills only in a safe environment and with qualified supervision where appropriate.
