TERMS OF USE FOR CALICOACH

1. Scope
These terms govern use of the CaliCoach app.
2. Service description
CaliCoach provides local video handling, pose and metric calculation, AI technique feedback, Coach Chat, progress views, and subscription management for calisthenics attempts.
3. Not a medical service
CaliCoach is not a medical device and does not replace medical, physiotherapy, therapy, or in-person coaching advice.
4. No guarantee of accuracy
AI feedback, skill recognition, keyframe selection, and metric calculations may be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable for your situation. Results depend on recording conditions, execution, and model limitations.
5. User responsibility
You are responsible for training safely, stopping if you experience pain or discomfort, using suitable equipment, not relying on the app for health decisions, and uploading only content you have the right to process.
6. Misuse
You may not misuse the app, overload it technically, bypass safeguards, or use it unlawfully or harmfully.
7. Third-party services and AI consent
AI analysis and Coach Chat use the OpenAI API only after your explicit in-app consent. The feature-specific consent screen identifies OpenAI and the exact data that will be transmitted. Details on data categories, purposes, retention, withdrawal, and safeguards are set out in the Privacy Policy. Apple may provide App Store payments and system speech input; Google/Firebase is optional for analytics and crash diagnostics; Hetzner hosts the CaliCoach API infrastructure. Cloudflare securely routes and protects website and API traffic through its reverse proxy and outbound tunnel.
8. Free trial, paid features, subscriptions, and cancellation
The free offer is available once per eligible device and begins with the first accepted AI request. It lasts no longer than 72 hours and includes up to three successfully completed technique analyses and three outgoing Coach Chat messages. After the free offer ends or a limit is reached, further AI features require Premium unless CaliCoach makes a feature available free of charge.
Paid features and subscriptions are processed by Apple and StoreKit. Subscriptions may renew automatically unless cancelled in time through Apple ID or App Store settings. Prices, duration, renewal terms, and cancellation options are shown before purchase. CaliCoach receives only the transaction and entitlement information required to provide Premium. Technical fair-use, security, and abuse-prevention limits may also apply to Premium.
9. User content and rights
You retain ownership of your videos, prompts, and other content. You grant CaliCoach only the rights necessary to provide the requested functions, including local storage, analysis, feedback, and necessary processing by connected service providers.
10. Availability
The app may be unavailable in whole or in part because of maintenance, third-party outages, model changes, API issues, or technical failures.
11. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, CaliCoach is not liable for injuries, training mistakes, incorrect feedback, data loss, or indirect damages arising from use of the app.
12. Changes
These terms may be updated. A renewed in-app consent may be required for legal or material changes.

14. One-time free offer and DeviceCheck
Where CaliCoach uses DeviceCheck, a device that Apple has marked as having used the one-time free offer may not receive another free trial after an app reinstall or "Delete All App Data". This is used solely to protect the free offer against abuse.
